UK ROAD TRAFFIC ACCIDENT CLAIM ADVICE
Our lawyers will represent the injured victim of a negligent driver in a road traffic accident claim on a no win no fee basis. If the other driver has been identified then compensation is paid in full and all claims handled by UK Lawyers are genuinely risk free.
We only deal with road traffic accident claim settlements and we are unable to give advice on motoring offences.
You can book by 'phone, by post, or directly on the DSA's website: www.driving-tests.co.uk. Since November 2002 the test includes a hazard perception test. The Driving Theory Test.
You will be asked 35 questions and will have 40 minutes to complete the first part. All you have to do is read the question which will appear on a computer screen, think carefully and then select your answer by touching the screen. In some cases you may be asked to select more than one answer so read the instructions carefully. You will be given the opportunity to change your answers if you wish.
In order to pass you must correctly answer 30 or more questions out of the 35. There is an optional practice session for you to work through before you begin, so it's made really easy to understand and use.
The Hazard Perception Test.
Firstly, you will be shown a tutorial video which uses sample footage with a sound track. This will explain how to complete this part and can be repeated once. It consists of 14 video clips featuring various types of road hazard such as vehicles, pedestrians and road conditions. You will have to press a mouse button as soon as you see a hazard developing that may result in the driver having to take some action such as changing direction or altering speed. The sooner you spot the hazard and respond the higher you will score. You can score up to 5 marks on each hazard and the whole test comprises 15 hazards. The pass mark for hazard perception is 44 out of 75 for car drivers and motorcycle riders. LCV or PCV candidates must score 50 out of 75.
If you want to avoid a road traffic accident claim in the future, after passing your test, you should consider attending advanced driver courses.
